Turmeric-An exotic and bright yellow spice, is known for its anti-bacterial, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory benefits. Garlic is great for the purposes of detoxifying in that it helps to relieve water retention and stimulates the liver. It can be added to all kinds of savory dishes and can be used in vegetable juices. Garlic is used almost in all dishes to make them pleasing to the taste or smell. Garlic eaten raw daily can lower down your cholesterol level.

Ginger–Ginger is warming and heartening. A little grated ginger adds warmth and spice to any juice but its benefits extend beyond taste alone as it acts as an aid to digestion that is why drinking ginger tea is so beneficial after a big meal. It also helps to alleviate wind. Powdered or freshly ground ginger root is used to flavor all sorts of ginger cakes and biscuits as well as steamed puddings. Also taking ginger with honey is the best herbal remedy to cure cold and sore throat. A pinch or two of ginger gives richness and warmth to a number of vegetable soups and flavored sauces.
